Vietjet to transport apricot, peach blossoms on Lunar New Year occasion
Vietjet Air will transport apricot and peach blossoms on domestic flights from/to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Da Lat and Hai Phong from January 15 to February 28 on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival, at VND450,000 (US$17.13) per bundle (excluding taxes and fees).
Under the regulations, each passenger may transport a maximum of one bundle, with no more than two branches. The service does not apply to whole trees or potted plants with soil. Each bundle must not exceed 150 cm x 40 cm x 40 cm in size and must be carefully packed and protected before check-in.
Passengers can register the service as checked baggage during ticket booking or after booking via the website www.vietjetair.com, the carrier’s mobile application, the agency system, ticket offices and the call centre. Passengers are advised to complete registration at least three hours before departure for priority.
Flying with Vietjet, passengers can also enjoy hot meals and Vietnamese specialities such as pho Thin (Thin noodle soup), bread and iced milk coffee, along with international cuisine served by professional cabin crew, as well as cultural and artistic activities.
Vietjet shifts domestic check-in at Tan Son Nhat from January 13
From January 13, 2026, all Vietjet domestic flights will conduct check-in procedures at Hall A of Terminal T1 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City.
