Vietjet opens startup journey, connecting Vietnamese, Indian talents
Vietnam National Startup Support Centre, Amity Innovation Incubator (India) and Vietjet have launched the “Startup Flight” initiative, connecting the innovation ecosystem between Vietnam and India.

The launch ceremony of the “Startup Flight” initiative took place in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of Government representatives, city leaders and experts from the Indian Institute of Technology.
As a co-founder of the initiative, Vietjet not only plays the role of an aviation bridge but also a pioneer, connecting intellectuals, cooperating in investment, helping Vietnamese and Indian startup talents reach out to the region and the world. The special programme connects startup centers in Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City with the largest and most dynamic cities in India where Vietjet has connecting flights such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Kochi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
The initiative aims to nurture talent and promote innovative solutions in four priority areas: Software & Data/AI, E-commerce & Retail, EdTech, and Transportation & Logistics. The winning teams will have the opportunity to develop into national unicorns, making a practical contribution to Vietnam’s rising era and India’s economic development.
Accordingly, from now to September 15, 2025, individuals or groups of up to 3 members from Vietnam and India are invited to submit proposals via the website TheStartUpFlight.vietjetair.com.
After the preliminary round, the 8 best teams, equivalent to 2 teams for each field, will be selected to participate in the “Startup Flight” with Vietjet, and receive direct advice from prestigious experts and founders from the two countries. The finalists will present their ideas to investors, with the winning team in each field receiving a cash prize of US$1,000, and a pair of Vietjet round-trip tickets between Vietnam and India.
