Vietcombank receives two Asian Banker Awards
(VOV) - Vietcombank has been named – Best Cash Management Bank in Vietnam and Best Counterparty Bank in Vietnam – at the 2015 Asian Banker Summit held April 14-16 in Hong Kong (China).
The bank has a leading market share in cash management in Vietnam and was able to grow revenue impressively in 2014 rolling out notable innovations providing its corporate customers with the highest of quality automated fund collection and disbursement capabilities.
The banks cash management system is designed with the goal of ensuring its customers first rate cash management service on a uniform global standard. It has done so successfully by enabling central storage and uniform processing of data across the whole bank, setting up an integrated system of production, disaster backup and testing.
About 1,000 delegates attended the event, consisting of industry specialists, senior bankers, regulators, service providers and decision makers from leading institutions in Asia, the US, Europe and Latin America, where opinions and responses of practitioners from across the region to global issues are shaped.
The Asian Banker Achievement Awards are widely acknowledged by the financial services industry as the highest possible accolade available to professionals and banks in the industry in the Asia Pacific region.
A stringent three-month evaluation process based on a balanced and transparent scorecard had been used to determine the winners.
