UTCC unveils 2019’s rising businesses
The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) says that e-Commerce business will be among rising stars this year.
Businesses on the decline this year include book publishing, handicrafts and furniture, leather-related businesses, landline phone services, private schools and universities, toys, retail, flowers, rubber, and palm oil production.
Thanawat expects the Thai economy to expand between 4 and 4.2%, thanks to a giant wave of spending during the election, state-sponsored projects, and the restructuring of the Thai economy in accordance with the Thailand 4.0 policy.
Economic recovery can be expected in the latter half of 2019.
