USD215-million financial centre to be built in HCM City

HCM City authorities are seeking prime ministerial approval for the selection of state-owned HCM City Financial Investment Company (HFIC) as investor in the municipal financial centre.

The centre, to be located in Thu Thiem new urban area, will have a total investment of around VND4.8 trillion (USD215 million).

The 220,000 square-metre building will begin construction in 2018 and finish in 2021.

The financial centre is intended to attract financial institutions, banks and investment funds nationwide, as well as private, domestic and foreign businesses.
