Two international expos on garment, printing industries underway in HCM City
VOV.VN - The 20th Vietnam Int'l Textile & Garment Industry Exhibition (VTG 2022) and the 20th Vietnam International Printing and Packaging Industry Exhibition (Vietnam Print Pack 2022) opened in Ho Chi Minh City on September 21.
The four-day VTG 2022 attracted the participation of over 200 exhibitors from 15 countries and territories worldwide, including the UK, India, Indonesia, Germany, the United States, Japan, and China to showcase textile - garment machinery and accessories, as well as fabric processing.
Judy Wang, president of the exhibition’s organisers Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co.Ltd., said the event provided an ideal platform for local textile and garment manufacturers to gain access to advanced technologies and the latest market information, whilst connecting with leading enterprises globally.
Meanwhile, Vietnam Print Pack 2022 kicked off on the same day at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC), featuring 412 booths and displaying a range of items. Some of the products on show include the latest printing machinery and accessories, inks, printing materials and supplements, knives, cutting disks, scorers, packaging machinery, raw materials and auxiliaries, along with dosing, coding, and marking systems.
The event scheduled to run until September 24 primarily focuses on technology trends and the promotion of digital technology in the packaging and printing sector.
It is the first time that the expo has been held on digital platform and will last through to October 7. It is part of activities to celebrate National Digital Transformation Day that falls on October 10 annually.
A seminar on digital transformation in the printing industry will also be attended by more than 300 domestic and foreign enterprises.
