ThaiBev reaffirms strong confidence and long-term commitment to Vietnam

VOV.VN - Thai Beverage Public Co., Ltd. (ThaiBev) has reiterated its strong confidence in Vietnam’s investment environment, emphasising that the company’s long-term commitment is reflected in the practical results it has achieved in the country over recent years, Chairman Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi said.

He made the remarks during a meeting with Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien in Hanoi on December 5.

Dien welcomed ThaiBev’s sustained investment in Vietnam, acknowledging its contributions to the country’s socio-economic development. He also highlighted opportunities for deeper collaboration, particularly in building sustainable value chains.

He noted that Vietnam encourages investors with clear, long-term business strategies to participate more deeply in green and sustainable production.

With Vietnam’s strong agricultural potential, the country hopes ThaiBev will view Vietnam not only as a consumer market, but also as a source of raw materials and a strategic production base, said the Minister.

In response, Chairman Thapana confirmed ThaiBev’s continued commitment to the Vietnamese market.

“Everything we invest in is done with seriousness and responsibility. As a contributor to Vietnam’s economy, we hope to continue accompanying the country in enhancing competitiveness,” he said.
