Ten-month state budget revenue exceeds annual target by 9.1%

VOV.VN - State budget revenue in the first ten months of 2025 was estimated at VND 2.145 trillion, equivalent to 109.1% of the annual target and up 28.5% year-on-year, with October revenue recorded at VND 193.5 trillion, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).

Domestic revenue from January to October reached VND1.8427 trillion, equivalent to 110.5% of the annual target and up 32.6% year-on-year. The rise was largely attributed to large land-use right payments land-related receipts, which totaled VND 451.4 trillion, driven by major land-use right payments at projects such as Vinhomes Can Tho, Vinhomes Wonder City Hanoi, the North Hanoi Smart City project, and Sun Group Vung Tau.

Revenue from dividends and profit transfers, including the profit-after-tax difference from the State Bank of Vietnam, came to nearly VND 139 trillion, up 16.7% over the same period last year.

Crude oil revenue stood at nearly VND 41 trillion, fulfilling 77% of the annual plan and down 14.9% year-on-year. Budget revenue from import-export activities amounted to nearly VND 260 trillion, or 110.6% of the yearly target, and increased 12.8% from a year earlier.

On the expenditure side, State budget spending during the reviewed period reached VND 1.8308 trillion, equal to 71% of the annual plan and up 47.1% year-on-year. Regular expenditures made up about 68% of total spending, while development investment represented 27%.
