The fair has nearly 400 stands from 300 local businesses and 100 businesses from the Chinese provinces of Yunnan, Guangdong and Guangxi.

The event aims to develop the technology market along the Vietnam-China border and promote the application of new technology in production activities in order to raise competitiveness and increase productivity.

On display are new technologies developed for processing agro-forestry and fishery products, food and foodstuffs, farming, mining, manufacturing machinery, producing pharmaceuticals, treating environmental pollution as well as information and communications technology.

In the framework of the four-day event, a number of seminars are held, with a focus on boosting trade promotion and technology transfer and signing contracts between Vietnamese and Chinese businesses.
