TCG opens HCM City office as part of Asia expansion strategy
VOV.VN - The Customization Group (TCG), a global provider of print-on-demand (POD) services, has opened an office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, marking a key step in its expansion strategy in Asia.
The opening ceremony was attended by Philipp Muhlbauer, co-founder and co-chief executive officer of TCG, along with international and Vietnamese staff. The company said its decision to enter Vietnam after more than 20 years of development reflects confidence in the country’s growing POD market.
Founded in Germany in 2006, TCG operates five production facilities across Europe and the United States, with a combined capacity of around 2.5 million products per day. Its products are distributed to more than 170 countries and territories, focusing on large-scale personalised manufacturing.
According to company representatives, the Vietnam office will serve as a local hub to support domestic customers while also laying the groundwork for long-term partnerships. TCG aims to work closely with Vietnamese POD sellers to improve product quality, optimise business processes and meet international market standards.
Under the POD model, sellers do not need to hold inventory, instead they concentrate on design, content creation and trend analysis. By integrating with production facilities located closer to end markets, the model helps shorten delivery times, reduce costs and enhance competitiveness.
TCG said its presence in Vietnam is expected to contribute to improving overall quality standards in the domestic POD sector and is seen as a positive signal for Vietnam’s cross-border e-commerce ecosystem, underscoring the group’s long-term commitment to supporting Vietnamese brands in global markets.
