The international exhibition for the textile and garment industry, covering machinery, equipment, materials and fabrics, is among the largest specialised events in the sector and is recognised by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.

The event will gather brands, equipment suppliers, material manufacturers, industry experts, associations and government representatives from multiple countries and territories, while offering updates on technology and market trends.

Spanning more than 30,000 sq m, the exhibition is expected to host over 1,000 exhibitors from 22 countries and territories, including Germany, the Netherlands, the US, the Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, Switzerland, China, Australia, Vietnam, Italy and India.

Displays will cover a wide range of segments across the textile and garment value chain, including textile and garment machinery and technology, fabrics and nonwoven materials, garment accessories, fibres and raw materials, production solutions with a focus on sustainability, finished apparel, quality control and certification, as well as chemicals and dyeing.

Key features include smart technologies and AI applications in textiles and fashion, as well as sustainable solutions for fabrics and garment accessories.

The event will also feature seminars on technology trends, market developments and sustainable strategies in the textile and garment sector. A PPP programme will provide a platform for exhibitors to present new products and technologies, alongside a VIP buyer area.

In parallel, the exhibition will include a section featuring Vietnamese manufacturers, with around 40 domestic brands and apparel producers taking part. A “Made in Vietnam” area will feature suppliers operating in Vietnam, including material and fabric producers meeting national and international quality standards.

As the textile and garment industry accelerates automation, digital transformation and sustainable production, the event is expected to serve as an important trading venue for the international textile community in Vietnam, where businesses can better understand market demand, respond to trends and expand global partnerships.

The four-day exhibition is expected to attract more than 32,000 trade visitors.

SaigonTex & SaigonFabric 2024 expo to get underway in Ho Chi Minh City
