Reference exchange rate down 1 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate on February 26 at 22,910 VND per USD, down 1 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of  +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,597 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,205 VND/USD. 

The opening hour rates at commercial banks stayed relatively stable. 
Vietcombank increased both rates by 5 VND compared to February 25, at 23,165 VND/USD (buying) and 23,265 VND/USD (selling). 

BIDV also listed both rates at 23,165 VND/USD (buying) and 23,265 VND/USD (selling), up 10 VND. 

Meanwhile, Techcombank kept the rates unchanged, standing at 23,145 VND/USD (buying) and 23,265 VND/USD (selling).
