Promoting Vietnam’s cultural industries at Autumn Fair 2025

VOV.VN - Vietnam is set to promote its cultural industries and creative economy at the Autumn Fair 2025, a large-scale event expected to drive innovation, investment, and public engagement across a wide range of cultural industries.

With its largest-ever scale, diverse content, and modern exhibition formats, the fair will serve as a key platform to showcase Vietnam’s cultural strengths while fostering business connections and investment opportunities.

According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong, the participation of Vietnam’s cultural industries at the fair holds significant importance. Visitors will not only experience shopping and commercial activities but also engage with a rich array of cultural and artistic expressions.

A dedicated exhibition zone spanning over 10,000 square metres will bring together products and services from various cultural industries, including cinema, performing arts, advertising, publishing, fashion, fine arts, tourism, and entertainment. This marks the first time Vietnam’s cultural industries are presented in a comprehensive and coordinated manner at a national-level trade promotion event.

Among the highlights is the film exhibition area, which will host exchanges with film crews, showcase film-related products, and screen movies for audiences. Notably, the film “Red Rain” will be screened multiple times daily, alongside interactive sessions with directors, actors, and production teams, offering insights into the filmmaking process.

The publishing space will be designed as a book festival, featuring author-reader interactions, book signings, and discounted sales, while a “book café” will provide a venue for cultural exchange and literary engagement.

The performing arts area will facilitate networking within the sector, while offering audiences opportunities to interact with artists and explore traditional art forms through games and exhibitions. Handcrafted products inspired by performing arts, such as costumes, musical instruments, lanterns, masks, and puppets, will also be introduced.

Meanwhile, the sports zone will host martial arts and dance performances, as well as exchanges with athletes, alongside exhibitions of sports equipment and related products.

Exhibition areas for fine arts, fashion, and handicrafts will present paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and designer collections in curated thematic spaces, promoting both traditional craftsmanship and contemporary creativity.

The tourism pavilion will feature participation from localities, travel agencies, hotels, resorts, and transport companies, offering promotional travel packages and tourism products at competitive prices.

In addition to exhibition activities, the fair will offer diverse experiences for visitors, including cultural exploration, cuisine, and travel information from various localities such as Lao Cai, Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh, Khanh Hoa, and Can Tho.

Notably, the “Essence of Hanoi Autumn” zone, covering approximately 17,000 square meters, will recreate the cultural atmosphere of the capital, showcasing traditional crafts, cuisine, and artistic heritage. Visitors will be able to experience hands-on activities such as pottery making, bamboo weaving, and wood carving, while enjoying representations of Hanoi’s iconic autumn landscapes and specialties.

The fair will also feature vibrant outdoor activities, including games, concerts, art performances, fashion shows, and cultural exchanges. A highlight is the “Autumn Delicacies” culinary festival, offering diverse food experiences from across Vietnam alongside international flavors.

Beyond cultural showcases, businesses are also bringing experiential and promotional activities. MISS EDE, a coffee and chocolate brand from Dak Lak, will offer more than 15,000 free servings of high-quality products, meeting export standards applied in markets such as the United States and the Republic of Korea.

BestPrice Travel will introduce integrated tourism packages combining luxury travel and wellness experiences under the theme “Luxury Travel – Holistic Wellness,” with significant discounts on selected international tours.

The Autumn Fair 2025 is expected to serve as a dynamic platform to promote Vietnam’s cultural industries, enhance public engagement, and attract investment, contributing to the sustainable development of the country’s creative economy.
