PLASE Show Hanoi 2026 showcases professional audio, stage technology

VOV.VN - Dozens of domestic and international audio and lighting brands are gathering at the International Exhibition for Professional Performance Equipment (PLASE Show) in Hanoi, offering a space for demonstrations, hands-on experiences, and networking within the professional industry community.

Speaking at the opening ceremony on October 17, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong praised the initiative for connecting businesses, fostering cooperation and supporting the development of Vietnam’s exhibition and events industry.

The event serves as a bridge to link culture with tourism, creativity with technology, and products with markets while simultaneously facilitating trade, attracting investment, and promoting the nation’s image, he said.

As Vietnam continues to develop its cultural industries, there is scope to strengthen event management capabilities, attract more international events and build distinctive brands for exhibitions, festivals and performances, he added.

The Deputy Minister also highlighted the need to improve professional standards, workforce quality and technical requirements, ensure safety, respect intellectual property rights and encourage innovation. Businesses, he suggested, should take a more active role in content development, technology adoption, brand building and integration into the industry’s value chain.

Taking place at the Vietnam Exposition Centre in Hanoi from October 17 to 19, PLASE Show Hanoi 2026 features 61 exhibition booths, alongside 21 outdoor demonstration sites for Line Array systems.

It brings together equipment distributors, audio engineers and professionals working in live performance and event production, allowing visitors to observe and assess equipment under practical operating conditions.

This year marks its 15th edition. It is the largest annual event in Vietnam dedicated to professional audio, stage lighting, LED displays, and modern projection technology. The event introduces over 100 prominent domestic and international brands including Yamaha, NEXO, JBL, RCF, 4Acoustic, and LEA Professional.

In Outdoor Line Array Demos, visitors have a chance to experience real-world power tests of massive speaker arrays. In Indoor Exhibition within Hall 6, visitors can walk through an extensive indoor zone featuring the latest breakthroughs in 360-degree moving lights, smart control consoles, LED motorized tracks, and advanced theatrical special effects.

This year, the PLASE Show is being held in conjunction with the Vietnam Event and Exhibition Week (VEEW) 2026 hosted by the Vietnam Association of Trade Fairs, Exhibitions and Event Organizations (VECA) in collaboration with Le Bros alongside the Wedtech Show, organized by Delavu. This combination expands the networking landscape across the fields of sound, lighting, performance technology, event organization, and wedding services.
