Phu Quoc festival promotes local specialty
(VOV) -A special festival was held in Phu Quoc island district in the southern province of Kien Giang on July 14 to showcase Phu Quoc fish sauce – a hundred-year specialty.
The event was part of a programme jointly held by the provincial Department for Science and Technology, the Phu Quoc Fish Sauce Association, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) to promote the brand name of Phu Quoc fish sauce.

The festival many local fish sauce producers and many businesses that are keen on this specialty.
This was an occasion for Kien Giang to introduce economic and cultural values of Phu Quoc fish sauce, as well as tourism potential to both domestic and foreign visitors.
