Over 200 exhibitors to join VIFA ASEAN 2025
More than 200 domestic and international enterprises are expected to participate in the third Vietnam ASEAN International Furniture & Home Accessories Fair – VIFA ASEAN 2025, taking place from August 26 to 29 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) in HCM City.

Exhibitors will come from provinces and cities across Vietnam and more than 13 countries and territories, including Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, the US, China, India, Taiwan (China), and Hong Kong (China).
On display will be a wide array of products ranging from indoor and outdoor furniture to decorative items, handicrafts, materials, woodworking machinery, and supporting services.
The fair is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors, including about 2,500 international guests, as well as representatives from more than 15 business associations, entrepreneur clubs, and trade promotion organisations in Vietnam and abroad, said Dang Quoc Hung, general director of Alliance Handicraft Wooden Fine Art Corporation (Lien Minh Company).
A highlight will be the business-matching programme, held both in-person at SECC and online, enabling Vietnamese enterprises to connect more effectively with global buyers.
Jointly organised by Lien Minh Company, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) – HCM City branch, and other partners, the fair will also host seminars providing updates on global furniture production and consumption trends, offering practical insights to help businesses shape development strategies in the current context, Hung noted.
With the theme “The Convergence of Southeast Asian Interior Quintessence,” VIFA ASEAN 2025 seeks to bring together the interior industry of ASEAN countries in HCM City, strengthening the city’s position as a leading hub for interior and exterior trade in the region, he added.
According to Tran Ngoc Liem, director of VCCI – HCM City branch, Vietnam’s total export turnover in the first seven months of the year rose 14.8% year-on-year, with the wood and furniture sector up 8.6% to US$11.7 billion, maintaining its role as one of the country’s key export industries. Exports to the US grew by 10%, accounting for 58% of the sector’s total export value.
However, Liem warned that heavy reliance on a single market such as the US carries risks, as fluctuations in demand there will directly affect Vietnam’s export value. He stressed the need for market diversification, urging enterprises to expand into other potential markets such as Japan, China, and the EU to mitigate risks and ensure sustainable growth.
VIFA ASEAN 2025 is considered an important trade promotion event for Vietnam’s wood, furniture, and handicraft sectors. With its emphasis on flexibility and creativity, the fair serves not only as a bridge linking Vietnamese enterprises with ASEAN and global partners, but also as a strong platform for securing new orders, expanding cooperation, and connecting with buyers worldwide, he added.
