Following the success of an exposition held in Auckland in April, the Vietnamese embassy in New Zealand co-ordinated efforts with Integrity Plus Limited to host a pavilion at the annual Go Green Expo in Wellington from November 9 to November 10.

The event provided a platform for Vietnamese firms to introduce several of the country’s clean and green products.

With the aim of bringing high-quality domestic health items to buyers in New Zealand, several different types of local organic rice were on show during the two-day event, along with a number of other Vietnamese products, such as herbs and rice noodles.

With a growing consumer base, these products have started to appear of the shelves of Food Stuff North Island, New Zealand's largest retail chain, and Commonsense, a chain of organic stores based in Wellington.

Hordes of visitors and foreign partners working in the retail sector visited Vietnam's organic pavilions during the expo, particularly those who want to invest in organic sources from Vietnam and supply to the New Zealand market.

Running alongside the event, the Vietnam Embassy in New Zealand and Integrity Plus Limited co-hosted a "Doing Business with Vietnam" workshop that featured the participation of many companies from New Zealand.
