New Zealand closer to allowing fresh rambutan imports

VOV.VN - On July 27, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh announced that the New Zealand government is getting closer to allowing the import of the country’s fresh rambutan.

Vietnam agriculture has been struggling for years trying to get authorization from the New Zealand government to allow the import of rambutan.

Mr Dinh does not say the deal has been finalized yet, just that New Zealand authorities have given their tentative approval pending some quarantine tests yet to be completed.
