Nearly 400 businesses to attend Vietstock 2024
VOV.VN - Over 400 exhibitors are expected to attend Vietnam's Premier International Feed, Livestock, Aquaculture & Meat Industry Show (Vietstock) which will discuss challenges and propose solutions aimed at bringing the livestock industry towards green and sustainable development, heard a press conference held on August 7 in Hanoi.
The event provided an ideal venue for businesses to introduce advanced technologies, discuss new trends, and address challenges faced by the livestock and aquaculture industries in the nation and elsewhere in the ASEAN region.
Duong Tat Thang, director of the Department of Livestock under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, said the event is expected to involve the participation of more than 400 exhibitors and welcome 13,000 visitors from 50 countries around the world.
An international exhibition titled Aquaculture Vietnam 2024 will also be held during the function as part of efforts to help visitors gain greater insights into the entire value chain of the Vietnamese livestock and aquaculture industry.
Six seminars and workshops will be held throughout the course of the event, aiming to provide an ideal venue for farmers, the business community, scientists, and managers to share information in order to devise development orientations for the livestock industry in a more sustainable way towards achieving a green economy model, as well as a green and circular agriculture.
