National Australia Bank launches rep. office in Vietnam
(VOV) - The National Australia Bank (NAB) inaugurated a representative office in Vietnam on October 1, the first step towards opening a full banking branch that will serve Australian companies operating effectively in the country.
“The move marks a milestone in the bank’s development, illustrating its commitment to expanding service to customers throughout Asia,” said Daryl Johnson, Asia CEO of National Australia Bank.
“As the leading business bank in Australia we are committed to helping our customers respond to the opportunities on offer in Asia, and supporting them as they expand into new markets,” Johnson added.
The NAB has been in operation for over 150 years. It currently employs 42,000 staff and serves 12.4 million customers at more than 1,800 locations around the globe.
