Most Hanoi listed firms see Q4 profits

 About 86.7 percent of the listed companies on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) made profits in the fourth quarter of last year.

However, their combined profit in Q4 2015 fell 27.7% compared with the same period of 2014.


The number of firms that reported losses in the last quarter of 2015 accounted for 13.3% of the total listed firms, with the combined loss registering a 27.7% increase, when compared with the same period of 2014.


As of February 2, 97.6%, or 207 out of 212 firms that were not parent companies, published their Q4 2015 financial reports, a slight decline of 0.9% year-on-year.


HNX said the listed parent companies had to publish their fourth-quarter financial reports of 2015 on February 15.
