The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade proposed the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) support businesses engaged in the city's price-stabilising programme.
In recent times, businesses that had to import materials could not buy foreign currencies at exchange rates listed in banks. Therefore, the ministry should grant preferential policies for the businesses to assist the programme.
The department also asked businesses to stock more animal and aquatic products, beginning on January 1, 2011.
