VOV.VN - Korean supermarket chain Lotte Mart has announced the closure of one of their three outlets in Hanoi, starting on July 1, as part of an ongoing shift in their development strategy in Vietnam.

The Korean retail giant will shut its largest facility in the capital located on 229 Tay Son street in Dong Da district, reported Dau tu (Vietnam Investment Review).
Despite the closure, there are still two remaining Lotte Mart outlets in the districts of Ba Dinh and Cau Giay.
Lotte has recently opened a new outlet in Nha Trang City of Khanh Hoa province, central Vietnam. It has also initiated plans to open a new megamarket in Vinh city of central Nghe An province.
Following the latest closure, Lotte Mart will have outlets in 14 locations nationwide.
