Large Chinese business delegation to attend VIS 2025 for supply chain connections
VOV.VN - Vietnam is set to welcome a substantial delegation of Chinese companies from across various regions at the 2025 Vietnam International Sourcing Expo (VIS 2025), scheduled from September 4-6 in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has reported.

Key participants include Pagoda Group (BGY Fruits), China’s leading fruit retail chain with over 5,000 stores in 180 cities. The company views Vietnam as a strategic sourcing hub, targeting products such as durian, coconuts, bananas, dragon fruit, and jackfruit. Pagoda plans to expand procurement in Vietnam and partner with local growers to standardise cultivation zones and develop high-quality fruit lines.
From Taiwan (China), Elom Group, Chi Cheng Food, and Gu Gang have expressed strong interest in holding B2B meetings with Vietnamese manufacturers. Elom Group, with nearly three decades of experience distributing Southeast Asian products, operates a 106,000-square-foot warehouse in Taoyuan, manages a logistics fleet, and runs an integrated retail and e-commerce distribution system.
Mainland China’s Liang Zhi Long Group will showcase its end-to-end F&B supply chain, covering food trend research, procurement, cold storage logistics, and financial services for restaurant chains. In the Guangzhou–Shenzhen corridor, companies within the Infinitus ecosystem active in fruit, consumer goods, and functional nutrition aim to secure stable supply chains and roll out a hybrid online-to-offline (O2O) distribution model to boost Vietnamese F&B product presence in China and nearby markets.
Rui Wei Group from Shenzhen will participate at VIS for the first time, presenting a wide product range including food and beverages, fresh fruits, household goods, footwear, furniture, and electrical appliances. Other notable sourcing interests come from 313 Wealth and Jiang Men Meng (Hong Kong), focusing on nutritional products, cashews, sauces, and spices from Vietnam.
Supporting industries will also be represented, with numerous Chinese companies in water valve systems, flow control, and automation technologies attending VIS 2025, the Vietnam Trade Office in Beijing confirmed.
Vietnam-China trade reached a record US$205 billion in 2024, with Vietnam importing US$144 billion worth of goods. China remains Vietnam’s second-largest export market, with exports totaling over US$61 billion last year. In the first seven months of 2025, exports to China reached US$35 billion, up 7.1% year-on-year.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, bilateral trade still holds huge potential, supported by frameworks such as the ASEAN–China Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA) and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
