Korean firms tap into Vietnam’s disaster safety management market
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety of the Republic of Korea (RoK) announced on August 25 that Korean enterprises had secured about KRW27 billion (US$19.4 million) in contract leads at the Secutech Vietnam exhibition, a leading disaster safety industry event in Southeast Asia.

Held in Ho Chi Minh City from August 14–16, Secutech Vietnam 2025 attracted around 17,000 visitors. At the Korean pavilion, 25 companies in the disaster safety sector showcased innovative products and technologies covering fire prevention and firefighting, disaster preparedness, and daily safety solutions.
During the exhibition, Korean businesses held 447 business consultations with local buyers, paving the way for deals valued at approximately KRW27 billion.
Jinwoo SMC, a manufacturer of specialised fire trucks, signed seven memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with Vietnamese firms for product sales. FirebusterLab, a producer of firefighting equipment, reached MoUs with four Vietnamese design and construction companies for the use of its high-capacity, high-pressure sprinkler systems.
