Jetstar plans to double the number of its daily flights from Singapore to Vietnam, starting this July, after it receives new aircraft.
Currently, Jetstar is conducting eight flights a week between Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City, using A320s, and will add six more flights to its schedule in July.
The company is carrying out a plan to increase the number of its aircraft to 10 from the current 8 in mid 2010 to meet passengers’ rising demand for travel between Singapore and HCM City.
HCM City is a top priority venue for Singapore’s Jetstar Asia and Valuit to increase flights from Singapore, says its CEO Chong Phit Lian.
