Japanese firm builds flagship resort hotel in Thai Nguyen
VOV.VN - The Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee has awarded an investment registration certificate for the Route Inn Grand Thai Nguyen Hotel project to Route Inn Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Route Inn Japan.

The 14-story hotel will be built on an area of more than 9,000sq.m. in the Yen Binh Urban Area with a total cost of VND 375 billion (approx. US$14.7 million). It will feature 350 rooms and is expected to become a flagship resort not only for Thai Nguyen but for Vietnam as a whole.
Jeong Jaehoon, CEO of Overseas Projects at Route Inn Japan, emphasised the group’s recognition of Thai Nguyen’s strong investment potential, thanks to its favorrable investment policies, a strategic location, high-quality human resources, and abundant natural resources.
“We hope Route Inn Grand Thai Nguyen will become a flagship resort project in our Vietnam portfolio in the coming years,” said Jeong.
The hotel is designed to feature full Japanese-standard facilities and services while incorporating a harmonious blend of Vietnamese and Japanese cultural elements, catering to both international experts and travelers seeking a high-end stay.
Trinh Viet Hung, secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, noted that the Yen Binh Urban Area borders Hanoi and serves as a gateway between Thai Nguyen and the key economic zone of Northern Vietnam. With hundreds of thousands of foreign experts and workers currently in the region, and more expected as foreign investments increase, Route Inn Grand Thai Nguyen will help meet the growing demand for quality accommodations.
Route Inn Japan is a major hotel group operating nearly 600 properties across Japan. In Vietnam, it currently manages several projects, including Grandvrio Ocean Resort Da Nang, Grandvrio City Da Nang, and Route Inn Hai Phong.
Thai Nguyen is the third Vietnamese location to be chosen by Route Inn Japan for hotel development. The group has ambitious plans to expand its presence in the country, aiming to open 100 hotels in Vietnam over the next decade, demonstrating its strong long-term commitment to the Vietnamese market.
