Italian cuisine introduced at Food & Hospitality Hanoi 2025
VOV.VN - Sixteen Italian food enterprises participated in Food & Hospitality Hanoi 2025 from March 18 to 20, offering Vietnamese consumers a closer look at authentic Italian cuisine.

The event featured a diverse range of signature Italian products, including pasta, pasta sauces, pesto, tomatoes and sauces, beans and vegetables, spices, cereals, butter, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Ladyfingers, cookies, pizza dough, truffle-based products, fresh truffles, buckwheat, artichokes, and Italian wines.
Speaking at the event, Fabio De Cillis, director of the Italian Trade Office (ITA) in Vietnam, said that the exhibition provided a valuable opportunity for Italian businesses to introduce their unique products to Vietnamese consumers. He noted that as more high-quality Italian products enter the market, their prices could become more competitive, making them more accessible.
Italian food products have already made their way into local restaurants through a network of high-end importers and distributors. Additionally, they are now available at major retail chains such as Mega Market, Tops, and AEON.
De Cillis also highlighted the compatibility between Italian and Vietnamese cuisine, noting that many Italian ingredients can complement traditional Vietnamese dishes.
Vietnam and Italy established diplomatic relations on March 23, 1973. Over the past five decades, the two countries have deepened their partnership across various fields, enhancing both bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
Currently, Vietnam is Italy's largest trading partner in ASEAN, while Italy ranks as Vietnam's third-largest trading partner in the EU.
