Int’l industrial fair opens in Hanoi
(VOV) - The 2014 Vietnam International Industrial Fair (VIIF) kicked off in Hanoi on October 21, attracting more than 250 foreign and domestic enterprises.
Attendees to the three-day event running until October 24 have the opportunity to view the latest in cutting edge technologies and products from countries such as the Republic of Korea (RoK), China and Malaysia over fair grounds spanning 4,500 square metres.
This year’s fair has also drawn the participation of 24 Russian enterprises from the heavy industry, energy, science and technology, and education and training sectors.
A forum on science technology cooperation between Vietnam and Russia organized by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science in co-ordination with the Embassy of Russia in Vietnam is set to take place from October 22-23.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) with the support of the European Trade Policy and Investment Support Project (EU-MUTRAP) is also sponsoring an exhibition on genuine goods and counterfeit goods from October 21-24.
