Int’l hardware, household goods, gift exhibitions open in HCM City
A series of international exhibitions on hardware, household products and gifts opened in Ho Chi Minh City from June 4-6.
They are the Vietnam International Hardware Expo 2025 and the Home Show Vietnam 2025, co-organised by Singapore-based Uninet Exhibition Pte. Ltd. and Han Viet MICE EIMS Co., Ltd., in collaboration with local and international trade promotion agencies.
The hardware expo attracts about 300 exhibitors from over 10 countries and territories, showcasing six product categories, including tools, locks, home repairs, industrial household items, and labour protective suits. It is seen as an opportunity for enterprises to explore collaboration, update market trends, and access modern technologies in hardware manufacturing.
Running in parallel, the Home Show Vietnam 2025 gathers another 300 local and international exhibitors. The event features seven categories, including kitchenware, home textiles, gifts, office supplies, décor, smart appliances, and outdoor items. A dedicated Vietnamese pavilion will highlight high-quality local products.
According to organisers, the exhibitions adopt a B2B format, aiming to connect global suppliers with Vietnamese and Asian markets, particularly in large-scale import-export.
The exhibitions are expected to support business community, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises in accessing new markets and business partners. Several expert-led seminars will also be held to discuss trade trends and sustainable development in the household and gift sectors.
At the opening ceremony of the exhibitions, Director of the Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade Vu Ba Phu said that the exhibitions gathered manufacturing, import-export and trading enterprises from countries and territories, bringing thousands of products with diverse designs, and materials, demonstrating the great progress of the Vietnamese hardware, household appliances and gift industry on the global trade map. This not only enhances Vietnamese enterprises’ competitiveness but also expands opportunities to access demanding markets such as the US, Japan, the EU, and the Republic of Korea.
