Vietnamese businesses now have a fine opportunity to introduce their brand names to the world by participating two international exhibitions which opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre on March 18.

The 5th International Processing, Filling and Packaging Exhibition and Conference for Vietnam, (ProPak Vietnam 2010) and the 3rd International Plastics & Rubber Technologies and Materials Exhibition for Vietnam, (Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2010), which are co-organised by VCCI Exhibition Service Company and Bangkok Exhibition Services Ltd., will help businesses share experiences and business cooperation.

ProPak Vietnam 2010 involving participation of 168 businesses from 20 different countries is expected to draw 6000 visitors from both international and domestic trade groups. Businesses will be showcasing innovative products, machines and technologies from the world’s leading suppliers. There will also be a symposium on “Packaging & Processing for Food Safety,” which is slated to present the latest innovations in food safety and environmental management on the production line.

Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2010, meanwhile, will draw 205 companies from 21 countries including Austria, Germany, Italy, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and the United Kingdom.

David Aitken, Managing Director of Bangkok Exhibition Services Ltd, and Bui Thi Thuc Anh, director of VCCI Exhibition Service Company agree that Vietnam is a sustainable market which has attracted a substantial number of million-dollar projects in recent years. Businesses are making an effort to improve the infrastructure, modernise their production methods, and apply modern technologies in order to increase their competitiveness.

Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2010 and ProPak Vietnam 2010, will be open until March 20, 2010.
