The 21st Vietnam International Textile and Garment Industry exhibition will open on April 8 on an area of over 7,000 square metres in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event will attract around 6,000 enterprises from 20 countries and territories, including mainland China, Hong Kong, the US, Japan, the UK, Sweden and Vietnam, with a total of more than 300 pavilions.

They will showcase various kinds of automatic, modern and accurate machines, which help to save production time, power and fuels including sewing machines, labelling and textile machinery and accessories.

The Deputy Director General of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association, Duong Thi Ngoc Dung, described it as Vietnam’s first exhibition ever meeting the standards set by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).

It will create opportunities for Vietnamese garment enterprises to study and purchase modern equipment manufactured in developed countries and promote “Made in Vietnam” brand name.
