International plastics and rubber expo opens in HCM City
VOV.VN - The 20th edition of the Vietnam International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition (VietnamPlas 2022) kicked off on November 23 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7 of Ho Chi Minh City.
On show at the event are products being displayed by 270 suppliers from 20 countries and territories globally, including the United States, China, Germany, Hong Kong (China), India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan (China), and Thailand.
The suppliers are showcasing their latest technologies, as well as the development trends occurring in the plastic and rubber industries.
Among them are well-known international brands such as Haitian (Huayuan), Yizumi, Borch, Fu Chun Shin, and Chen Hsong, all of which are displaying plastic injection moulding machines.
Furthermore, Rusplast and Sibur of Russia, Duromer of Australia, Kyodo of Japan, and Motan of Germany have brought high-quality raw materials to the exhibition.
The four-day event will see a number of seminars held throughout its duration, including “Compliance Regulations for Toys and Food Contact Products Exporting to the US and EU Markets” hosted by the Vietnam Plastics Association.
VietnamPlas 2022 is expected to help domestic manufacturers raise their production quality whilst simultaneously seeking further trade opportunities. Over the past 19 years, the event has served as a rendezvous point for both domestic and foreign firms seeking to access new equipment and technology.
The occasion has been organized by the Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising Company (VINEXAD) under the Ministry of Industry and Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co., Ltd.
