(VOV) -A conference on the implementation of a national campaign to encourage Vietnamese people to prioritize Vietnamese goods kicked off in Hanoi September 8.
In his address, Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) President Nguyen Thien Nhan underlined the importance of disseminating information on the campaign to raise public awareness about prioritizing made-in-Vietnam products as well as improving their quality and competitiveness.
"Amid fierce competitions as Vietnam further penetrates the global markets, it is essential to improve product quality and create new products in addition to our traditional items. We hope that Vietnamese enterprises will stay vigilant to avoid dumping risks. Enterprises need to improve their productivity and competitiveness by applying advanced technologies, not by cutting worker salaries," the VFF leader said.
