IEAE Hanoi 2026 to attract over 300 firms, connect electronics supply chains

VOV.VN - More than 300 companies specialising in the electronics, smart devices and home appliances sectors are expected to participate in the Vietnam International Electronics & Smart Appliances Expo (IEAE Hanoi 2026) in November to explore business opportunities and strengthen supply chain connections.

Vietnam’s electronics and home appliances market continues to expand as consumers upgrade their purchases and e-commerce grows rapidly. Rising demand for 3C consumer electronics, smart home devices, small household appliances and technology solutions for everyday life is driving businesses to diversify their sources of supply and shorten time to market.

In this context, IEAE Hanoi 2026, which is slated for November 5 to 7 at the Vietnam Exposition Centre (VEC) on the outskirts of Hanoi and covers more than 20,000 square meters of exhibition space, will showcase products, technologies and solutions across multiple segments, ranging from consumer electronics, smart devices and home appliances to components and manufacturing technologies.

The expo aims to enable Vietnamese businesses to assess products directly, compare sourcing options, identify partners and shorten the process of matching supply with demand. Several major Chinese brands are expected to present product lines specifically designed to meet the needs of the Vietnamese market.

According to organisers, participating companies have market experience, diverse product portfolios and relatively well-established operating systems. Many of their products meet certification requirements in Vietnam and other markets, giving domestic distributors and agents more options to expand their product ranges while easing price competition among comparable products.

Some companies also offer original equipment manufacturing (OEM), original design manufacturing (ODM) and contract manufacturing under private labels. These arrangements allow Vietnamese domestic brands and importers to place customised orders and adjust product designs, features or packaging without having to invest in the entire research, development and manufacturing process from scratch.

Flexible ordering arrangements can help businesses shorten product development cycles, test market demand and gradually build their own brands.

The exhibition will also feature suppliers of electronic and home appliance components. Exhibits will range from basic components to fully integrated parts used in 3C consumer electronics, smart home appliances and telecommunications equipment. These suppliers aim to serve assembly plants, repair facilities and manufacturers seeking components, technical solutions or contract manufacturing partners. The display is to create further opportunities to connect component suppliers with manufacturing, assembly and distribution businesses in Vietnam.

Many Chinese companies will also showcase their manufacturing capabilities at factories located in Vietnam. Producing closer to the market can shorten delivery times, reduce some cross-border logistics costs and improve responsiveness to urgent replenishment orders.

These advantages are also relevant to wholesalers and e-commerce businesses, whose sourcing needs can change rapidly with market trends. The ability to place small orders, test products before scaling up and replenish stocks quickly can help businesses reduce inventory pressure and operate more flexibly.

E-commerce sellers, livestream sales operators, multi-channel networks (MCNs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs) will also have opportunities to access products directly, evaluate samples, discuss purchasing terms and explore partnerships with manufacturers.

Beyond Vietnamese companies, IEAE Hanoi 2026 also targets international sourcing offices and foreign businesses operating in Vietnam. Through a business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking programme, organisers plan to help participants identify partners based on specific needs, ranging from import and distribution to contract manufacturing, component sourcing and brand development.
