Hoanh Mo-Dong Zhong Bridge to be completed by June
(VOV) - Quang Ninh provincial leaders and their Chinese counterparts from China’s Guangxi province have discussed the status of construction of the Hoanh Mo-Dong Zhong Bridge
At the talks on March 13, they agreed to pick up the pace of work on the bridge at the Hoanh Mo border gate to facilitate transport and boost cross-border trade between the two localities.
It is designed to have a minimum width of 9 metres with two lanes. Both sides also consented to set up a working group aiming to complete the bridge by June of this year.
In addition, leaders of both localities underlined the need to strengthen cross-cultural exchange and organize high-level meetings to deal with border related issues such as human trafficking and smuggling.
