HCMC Business Summit 2025 gathers over 5,000 entrepreneurs and global investors

VOV.VN - The Ho Chi Minh City Business Summit 2025 opened on September 24, drawing more than 10,000 participants, including 5,000 entrepreneurs, CEOs, and investors, along with representatives from 50 domestic and international investment funds.

Co-organised by the Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Women Executives and Entrepreneurs (HAWEE), the four-day event has emerged as one of the city's most influential business forums. This year’s theme, “High-touch vs High-tech: Humanity x AI x Impact,” challenged participants to reflect on the evolving role of technology and its impact.

The summit featured 150 exhibition booths, representing a wide spectrum of industries and creating a dynamic platform for networking, product showcases, and trade cooperation.

A series of panel discussions and breakout sessions explore topics such as empowering middle management for sustainable growth; investment trends in green transport and e-mobility; navigating international capital markets and IPO strategies in Singapore; leveraging Vietnam’s free trade agreements for global expansion; and leadership, innovation, and legacy in the age of artificial intelligence.

Speakers from across sectors shared insights on balancing technological advancement with core human values, tackling challenges, and identifying sustainable investment trends.

Key discussions also address emissions reduction, green infrastructure, and the growth potential of Vietnam’s electric vehicle market. Experts also offer guidance on navigating international trade and capitalising on benefits under Vietnam’s free trade agreements.

A major highlight of the summit will be the signing of two strategic agreements: the first, between Phu Nhuan Jewelry JSC (PNJ), VGREEN, GSM, and VinFast, launched green taxi and EV transition packages for corporate employees, underscoring the private sector’s role in accelerating green mobility; and the second, between VGREEN and Chargepoint, seeing the rollout of 5,000 electric motorbike battery swap stations across Vietnam, a significant boost for the country’s e-mobility infrastructure.
