HCM City hosts dual int’l fashion, mother–baby exhibitions

The SIUF Vietnam 2025 Intimate Fashion and Sourcing Expo and the International Expo for Children, Baby, Maternity Expo (CBME Vietnam 2025) opened on November 13 in Ho Chi Minh City.

This marks the first time both events, two of Asia’s leading trade fairs, are held in Vietnam, jointly organised by Informa Markets Vietnam and several partners.

This year’s exhibitions receive support from key industry associations such as the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) and the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Garment, Textile, Embroidery, and Knitting (AGTEK). The events bring together global buyers, manufacturers, distributors, and leading regional brands, forming a comprehensive ecosystem connecting OEM/ODM suppliers to brand owners and retailers.

The exhibitions feature hundreds of brands, OEM/ODM manufacturers, and material suppliers from the region, aimed at enhancing supply chain linkages, trade, and product innovation. They also reinforce Vietnam’s growing role as a strategic manufacturing and consumer hub in Southeast Asia, particularly in the mother–baby and functional fashion sectors.

Running until November 15, the events include conferences and workshops offering insights into evolving consumer behavior, helping businesses shape brand strategies in the digital era. Business-matching activities and experiential zones also provide direct engagement between brands and consumers.

Athena Gong, Vice President for Asia and General Manager of Informa Markets China, said the dual exhibitions represent a strategic move to strengthen competitiveness, foster innovation, and promote sustainable growth.

She highlighted that SIUF Vietnam 2025 builds on the success of SIUF Shenzhen, the world’s largest lingerie fair, serving as a bridge to enhance Vietnam’s design, production, and commercialisation capacity.

Meanwhile, CBME Vietnam 2025 connects the entire mother–baby supply chain from materials and manufacturing to branding and retail, contributing to improved family lifestyles and a stronger consumer market in Vietnam.

Participating businesses expressed confidence that the twin exhibitions will become a premier platform for international collaboration, helping expand exports, upgrade supply chains, and elevate the global standing of Vietnamese brands.
