HCM City honours 52 outstanding companies
(VOV) - Fifty-two companies operating in the industrial and high-tech export processing zones of Ho Chi Minh City were presented certificates of merit on October 11 for their contributions to the community and sustainable business.
Among them were 14 companies with 100% foreign-invested capital. CEO of Viet-Trung Paper Packaging Co. Ltd Do Thanh Hung pledged that the company would continue to innovate and create products helpful to society, contributing to the State budget.
In recent years, despite the negative effects resulting from the global economic downturn, over 1,000 businesses in export processing zones and industrial parks in HCM City have reached more than US$5 billion in revenue, creating good jobs for over 270,000 employees.
