Hanoi pilots OCOP booth on Shopee to boost digital economy
VOV.VN - Hanoi will pilot a booth on Shopee e-commerce platform to promote OCOP (One Commune One Product) items and the city’s key products, part of a broader push to strengthen its digital economy.

The initiative follows the Hanoi People’s Committee’s September 23 scheme to raise the digital economy’s share of the city’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP) to 30% by 2025 and 40% by 2030.
Under the plan, over 60% of OCOP products, excluding fresh agricultural and aquatic goods, will be available on the platform. The booth is expected to be fully operational by December 15.
Participating producers and businesses will integrate digital tools into their operations, including digital signatures, electronic contracts and invoices, and product traceability systems to ensure transparency and enhance consumer trust.
To support the transition, Hanoi will provide training in digital business operations, e-commerce, online marketing, and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in sales.
In collaboration with Shopee, the city will launch promotional campaigns to strengthen consumer interaction and boost the visibility of Hanoi’s products both domestically and abroad.
The plan includes a roadmap for 2026–2030, aiming to expand to cross-border e-commerce platforms and major social media networks. Hanoi targets featuring 100% of its OCOP products and 50% of businesses from other sectors on the booth.
Additionally, it plans to partner with neighboring provinces to establish a pavilion introducing regional products, with the goal of building a common market, enhancing competitiveness, and boosting exports.
