The exhibition attracted 30 groups from 9 countries strong in recycling energy, such as Germany, the US, Denmark and Singapore. They displayed modern technologies, such as solar, wind, hydroelectric and biological energy sources, energy renewable procedures and transmission of recycled energy.

Minister of Science and Technology, Hoang Van Phong, said that the exhibition provides a good chance for Vietnamese managers and businesses to access modern technologies and equipment for renewable energy. “They have an opportunity to seek partners to implement Vietnam’s commitments at Copenhagen on climate change”, he said.

During the exhibition, a series of forums will be held, such as the legal framework for energy renewable development, opportunities and challenges for energy renewable development, energy renewable technology and research, as well as potential and solar energy technologies in Vietnam.
