Hanoi Great Souvenirs 2025 promotes gifts to foreign visitors
VOV.VN - The Hanoi Great Souvenirs 2025 fair opened on August 14 at the historic Thang Long Imperial Citadel in the capital city, aiming to promote locally made products to both domestic and international tourists.

The event spans more than 5,000 square meters and features 100 booths across themed zones, including an OCOP (One Commune One Product) area, traditional handicraft displays, and interactive spaces for visitor engagement.
Tourists also have the chance to explore Hanoi’s rich culinary heritage and cultural values, fostering a deeper appreciation for the thousand-year-old capital.
At the opening ceremony, Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade Vo Nguyen Phong emphasised that Hanoi is home to over 1,350 craft villages with approximately 176,000 households, making up 45% of all craft villages in Vietnam,
Many of these products have reached global markets, such as the United States, European Union, Japan, Russia, the Middle East, and other parts of Asia, he added.
The fair is organised to serve as a platform connecting businesses and production facilities in Hanoi's handicraft industry, helping them showcase the capital's signature products, he noted.
"The fair is expected to become a vibrant destination, bridging the past and present by linking traditional values with modern consumer trends. It aims to foster trade and bring Vietnamese culture, especially that of Hanoi, to both domestic and international audiences through locally made souvenir products," Phong stated.
The fair is scheduled to run through to August 17.
