GENTEXH 2025 drives the growth of the nonwoven fabric industry
VOV.VN - GENTEXH Vietnam, a global exhibition on nonwoven and hygiene fabric technologies, provides a key platform for Vietnamese businesses to access advanced innovations, connect with international partners, and enhance the competitiveness of the nonwoven fabric industry.

The event opened on March 12 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together over 200 businesses from 10 countries.
Speaking at the event, Do Thi Minh Tram, deputy director of the Department of Green Transition Innovation and Industrial Promotion under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, highlighted the rapid global growth of the nonwoven fabric industry due to its diverse applications in healthcare, hygiene, agriculture, and industrial sectors. The global market is projected to reach US$76.54 billion by 2029, with an annual growth rate of 6.02%.
In Vietnam, the demand for nonwoven fabrics is rising, yet the number of domestic manufacturers remains limited. Local enterprises face challenges in accessing advanced technology to enhance product quality. GENTEXH 2025 is expected to be a key platform for Vietnamese businesses to connect with international partners, explore cutting-edge production technologies, and source high-quality raw materials.
The exhibition also features specialized industry seminars focusing on export trends and groundbreaking applications of nonwoven fabrics. Additionally, a dedicated display area for Vietnam-made products will allow visitors to experience locally produced nonwoven fabric and hygiene products firsthand.
Running until March 14, GENTEXH 2025 serves as a helpful trade bridge between domestic and international enterprises, thus boosting the development of Vietnam’s nonwoven fabric industry and the broader Southeast Asian market.
