The Nha Trang Textile and Garment Joint stock Company (Nhatexco) exported their first three containers of fibre to China and Hong Kong on Fenruary 24, said its General Director Le Ngoc Hoan.
According to Hoan, Nhatexco has signed contracts to export fibre and garments worth over US$2.3 million to the EU, the US, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Republic of Korea, Turkey and some southeast Asian countries, earning a monthly turnover of US$600,000 from fibre and garment exports.
He said in order to complete the contract, the company started production again on January 6 (according to Lunar calendar) after Tet. The whole company is doing their best to improve both productivity and the quality of the products for greater effectiveness. It also plans to establish a new garment workshop with a total capacity of 3.5 million tonnes in products per year to diversify product variety and increase sales and export turnover.
