Half of the exhibition’s 224 stalls feature seafood products and the rest are used to introduce services, transportation, machines, equipment and chemicals for the fisheries sector.

Recognising the 10th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Luong Le Phuong praised VASEP’s contribution to the development of seafood processing and exports over the past decade.

Mr Phuong said Vietnam is now one of the top ten seafood producing countries, ranking third in the world in terms of aquaculture and sixth in terms of seafood processing and exports.
