A trade fair on local agricultural and industrial products and Nam Bo craft villages opened in southern Tay Ninh province on April 28 with Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong in attendance.
More than 200 stands from 100 businesses from numerous southern cities and provinces display different varieties of products from plants and animals as well as industrial equipment.
The fair provide an excellent opportunity for Vietnamese farmers to share their experiences and discuss methods of production, consumer goods and the transfer of technologies.
The same day, Deputy PM Trong presented gold cups to enterprises having trademarks selected by farmers.
The Golden Buffalo 2010 award is in honour of the best agricultural products and trademarks.
The trade fair will run until May 3.
