This will be the third plant to be built after the Dung Quat Refinery and Polypropylene Plants in Dung Quat IZ.

The plant is being built on a 2.6ha site at a cost of VND140 billion with an output capacity of 36 million plastic bags per year. The main materials for the plant will be Polypropylene plastic produced by the Binh Son Refinery Complex. The plant’s products will also supply the oil and gas industry and fertilizer and animal food producers.

The plant will go into operation after 12 months and generate nearly 200 jobs.
