The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, a US-based global leading provider of credit information on businesses and corporations, opened its representative office in Vietnam on March 18.

The office aims to support the country’s information sector and boost export growth.

Corinee Saundes, Vice President of D&B International Partnerships, said the opening of the office will help D&B clients “access quality information” about Vietnamese businesses who also need information about their foreign counterparts to boost exports and identify overseas customers and suppliers.

“Our presence in Vietnam will assist Vietnamese companies in identifying new trade partners globally and increase cross-border trade activities,” said Ms. Saunders.

D&B has made reports about Vietnamese businesses over the past 15 years. Its major clients are Japan, the UK, Hong Kong, the US and Germany.

The corporation has established a worldwide data network targeting more than 160 million businesses worldwide in over 200 countries.
