Denmark supports energy efficiency in Vietnam
(VOV) - The Danish Ambassador to Vietnam signed a two and one-half year agreement on December 2 in Hanoi to provide US$6.5 million to help Vietnamese small-and-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) improve energy efficiency.
Denmark aims to provide Vietnamese SMEs in the food, brick, clay and ceramics industries assistance in installing the latest energy efficient technologies, said Danish Ambassador to Vietnam John Nielsen at the signing ceremony.
He hoped that Danish support would help raise local businesses awareness and bring ideas and innovations from the drawing table to private enterprisesinreal life.
The project will be implemented in the period from January 2015 to June 2017.
