Mascot International Vietnam, a wholly Denmark invested company made its debut at the Tan Truong industrial park, northern Hai Duong province with a total investment capital of US$10 million.

Since 2006, Mascot has built a garment factory in Vietnam with the aim of producing products under special orders from Eastern European countries. In early 2008, Mascot decided to set up the Mascot Vietnam company and was licensed to operate this garment factory.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Mascot Vietnam General Director Thomas Bo Pedersen praised the Vietnamese Government and local administration’s support for the project and said that Vietnam is considered an attractive destination for foreign investors. Hai Duong in particular has become one of the most popular provinces having attracted a large number of new investors, said Mr Thomas.
